This week we are doing this poem writing that we're going to send to another classroom. We got to choose a toy to describe so I chose a pink fluffy teddy bear there was also a ship in a bottle, a plastic spider, a rock, a woman and a compass. I loved making the poem!
Last Friday was shine day and we were campaigning against domestic violence. We all dressed up in orange and brought a gold coin. In the morning we took a photo of the whole school and in the classroom with our friends. In the afternoon we went to the swimming sports assembly. I got 2nd in the 25m, 3rd in breaststroke and 2nd in the relays. I had a great day!
Today is Shrove Tuesday and we saw Father Bernard burn the palms from last year for Ash Wednesday. We also went to room 1 to make pancakes. We are making pancakes because a long time ago Jesus took all the flour and milk to make pancakes that's how they were created In the morning when father burned the palm leaves we all meditated and prayed to God. It was such a fun day!
For topic we are doing growth mindset. We had to choose a inspirational quote. I chose this quote because it is happy and kind and it makes people feel good about themselves. It reminds us to be kind.
